Our PMD product design incorporates the highest motor pole count in the industry allowing operation over a wider speed range and lower operating current at rated torque limits which ultimately delivers best in class power efficiency. Field trials and laboratory testing have proven power savings of up to 30% when compared to conventional electric PCP direct drivehead applications.
Pumping Unit Applications
Permanent Magnet Motors for Pumping unit applications use the latest in electric motor technology to provide a more energy efficient, cost saving, and safe surface pumping system. Permanent Magnet Motor technology provides full torque capabilities throughout the complete speed operation range of the motor allowing the pumping unit to be started or shutdown with the counterbalance weights in any position. The elimination of belts and sheaves offers improved operational safety while reducing operational costs associated with maintenance and spare parts.

With the evolution in production methods, our customers require equipment that can withstand and operate at higher pressures. MOST High Pressure Blow-Out Preventers (BOPs) are rated up to 10,000 PSI, high pressure tubing rotators and stuffing boxes are rated up to 5,000 PSI.
The use of steam in artificial lift applications creates the need for wellhead equipment to handle extremely high temperatures up to 650°F (343°C). MOST High Temperature blow-out preventers (BOPs), tubing rotators, and stuffing boxes can be built to operate at these temperatures safely.
Corrosion can lead to equipment failing prematurely if standard equipment is used in applications that involve high concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S). MOST offers several elastomer options and external surface coatings that can be used to ensure longevity and reliability of equipment in corrosive service conditions.
Deviations in the wellbore causes tubing and rod string wear from contact between the rod string and tubing. MOST offers tubing and rod rotators that reduce friction at a single point, increasing tubing and rod life.
MOST rod clamping blow-out preventers (BOPs) use traditional or a patented design rams to allow the surface equipment on the well to be serviced without the need of lifting the rod string. The patented designed rams do not damage the polished rod and depending on the size of the rod, these BOPs can be rated to hold up to 35,000 Lbs of rod string weight.
